1:1 Matching $50,000 Grant

Earlier this year we received a matching grant from a wonderful non-profit: One Day’s Wages (ODW) for a bit over $55,000. These funds are currently being used to purchase essential foods and warm blankets for the most needy in Ukraine. Now, ODW is extending their help again with another $50,000 grant. This is a 1:1 matching grant, which means that ODW will match every donation made through this new campaign. For example, if you make a $100 donation, Grace Tea will receive $200 in funds. If you make a $500 donation, Grace Tea will receive $1,000. And so on.

ODW has already committed $25,000 to the campaign. Now it’s our job to raise an additional $25,000, in order for the funds to be released. The deadline is December 31 2022, so we have less than a month to make this happen!

December Update

We are continuing to work with a handful of partners who are doing amazing work, sacrificing their time & safetey in order to help the most vulnerable. Each of the current five partners is taking on as much as they can, while ensuring that the dollars are used in the most wise way possible. As you will see below, we have a bit of a cushion right now. However, we plan on distributing these funds this winter, as it will be a very difficult one for the Ukrainian people.
